We have a lot of work to do! -$20 to $30 an hour -Employer pays 100% for Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance for employee -Employer 401k matching -Company Paid Short-Term Disability Coverage and Voluntary Long-Term Disability Coverage offered -2 weeks paid vacation -1 week of paid sick time -Paid holidays Responsibilities Safely work on excavation and earthworks projects as needed Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required Follow all safety and security procedures Able to work in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, odors, dust, and noise Qualifications Neat, clean, and professional appearance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and others High school diploma or GED required Able to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of commercial construction Perform road work, excavation work and underground utility work Drug-free Must have a valid driver's license Safety training certifications a plus Operator Position Description We are looking for a practical, reliable and action-oriented Equipment Operator to help with our expanding business. We have a lot of work to do! -$30 to $40 an hour -Employer pays 100% for Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance for employee -Employer 401k matching -Company Paid Short-Term Disability Coverage and Voluntary Long-Term Disability Coverage offered -2 weeks paid vacation -1 week of paid sick time -Paid holidays Responsibilities Safely operate equipment, including dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment Inspect equipment prior to operation on a daily basis and reports any issues to supervisor Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required Follow all safety and security procedures Perform other duties as assigned Able to sit for long periods of time Able to work in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, odors, dust, and noise Perform road work, excavation work, lifting of materials and knowledge of how to properly rig vaults, manholes etc. Qualifications Neat, clean, and professional appearance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and others High school diploma or GED required 1 year of recent experience required, 3 years preferred Able to operate excavators, graders, dozers, and rollers Able to safely operate equipment in tight and small spaces Able to use grade-checking equipment Able to read and interpret plans Able to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of commercial construction Perform road work, excavation work and underground utility work Drug-free Must have a valid driver's license Safety training certifications a plus Project Manager Position Description We are looking for a driven, action-oriented and practical Project Manager to ensure the timely and profitable completion of our projects by overseeing all phases of work. This role is primarily in the office, but the PM must visit job sites during the week to check on project and facilitate communication between the field and the office. Foreman Position Description The Foreman role at N8 Excavation is critical to our company. The best performing Foreman drives projects to completion on-time, on-budget and per specifications. They will ensure that the team is well trained, supplies and equipment are ready and safety is a key priority. The Foreman role must be able to handle the details of the projects from start to finish with limited direction and proper delegation. This position has visibility into the whole project and will be required to manage all aspects of the project, looking for efficiencies to increase margins.
